Changing how the future does energy.
From renewable energy development, to power distribution, to capturing clean energy for big data needs – it’s time to do things differently.
Explainer VideoAbout
Building an iconic energy brand a few megawatts at a time through the development of grid-independent, clean energy corridors for commercial and retail consumer applications.
We are developing grid-independent renewable energy at locations across Canada and the United States. Our objective is to service on-the-go travellers and commercial users. We are developing two types of locations referred to as ‘ION-Go’ and ‘ION-Get’.
ION-Go will be developed as fast EV charging stations conveniently located for customers. ION-Get will be developed for bulk commercial users and will include options to source various clean energy charging solutions.
ION’s development platform will be an important part of the clean energy future and a brand of choice respected by consumers.
As we build ION’s network we are:
- Holding sustainability at the forefront of decision making
- Building a network of clean, grid-independent, EV fast charging stations
- Providing commercial charging customers with green energy solutions
- Producing renewable energy for proprietary data processing needs
- Creating value by being an agile green energy resource company

Management Team
With fourteen years acting as Evolve’s President, Brodie has developed a keen understanding of how to integrate industries and balance complex interest groups. Brodie has built a multidisciplined team to navigate projects working in multiple industries across 15 provinces/states, and established 7 regional offices with 16 service locations across North America. Completing 5 successful mergers and acquisitions, and negotiating two key strategic partnerships during Evolve’s growth, Brodie has a proven track record of executing mandates and achieving set goals.
In 2019 and 2020 alone, Brodie’s team secured land and regulatory needs on 11 major renewables projects in 8 different states, providing line of sight for Evolve clients to execute on building 2.8 GW of renewable power generation. Couple this with the execution of 78 municipal projects in that same period, and the experience becomes a direct asset to ION.
Understanding the critical importance of building a talented and loyal team to make vision a reality, Brodie is incredibly focused on company culture and living the defined corporate ‘why.’ It is his mission to keep the team focused on ION’s ‘why’ so that it is top of mind now, and long into the future.
Tim has a long history of propelling projects to success with his eye for disrupting the status quo. His early vision founded and assembled an 800 MW wind energy resource pipeline in Southern Alberta. His concept to build out silica sand projects in Canada has led to the combined largest silica resource in North America. As ION’s CEO, Tim’s disruptive vision will change how the future does energy.
He began his career working as a Drilling Engineer for a multinational Oil and Gas company in charge of executing on large scale drilling and completion projects.
His activities have focused on the development of Megawatt scale renewables and green hydrogen for mobility, to industrial scale eFuel projects for export. At ION, he develops innovative business cases for the utilization of renewable electricity, to power and produce sustainable products and commodities beyond EV charging.
A professional engineer with a master’s in psychology, Colette connects easily with all levels of an organization. She is a culture creator with a proven track record of strengthening cross-functional collaboration. As a fearless negotiator and leader by example, time has a way of bending in support of her implementation efforts.
Colette is the right hand to both ION’s CEO and President. She is a trusted partner charged with the oversight of critical projects and making the company’s big ideas happen. With a solid footing in agile development, she is supercharging ION’s implementation plan and development schedule.
As co-founder of GPS Police Inc. Sean built on-premise data centres connected to thousands of remote GPS tracking devices streaming back location data. He was involved hands-on with every aspect of the business, although his primary area of focus was in the realm of hardware and operations.
Sean is a leader in designing GPS based hardware systems. During the discovery of emerging use cases of bleeding edge GPS technology he received SRED credits, pushed the technology forward, and made a positive impact across hundreds of commercial fleets and businesses.
Other development projects and interests include bitcoin mining, healthcare apps, a podcasting platform, and crowd funding financial services – all fun and rewarding endeavors.
Sean believes the future is bright. He is excited to lead the development of the technical infrastructure required to support ION’s sustainable energy generation and storage systems.
